Civil engineering work has begun to install 23km of underground cables in roads and agricultural land along the onshore route of the Greenlink interconnector in Wexford, Ireland.

Details of the works and measures to reduce impacts on residents and businesses in the area have been distributed to local people in the latest edition of the Greenlink community newsletter for Ireland. The newsletter also provides updates on progress of the project overall, including enabling works for construction of the converter station at Great Island and marine surveying works, and includes the latest news on Greenlink’s community benefit initiatives.
